Privacy Policy
How EventoTech collects, uses, and protects personal data on the institutional site (eventotech.com) and the platform (app.eventotech.com).
Last updated: September 2026
Who we are and who this policy applies to
This Privacy Policy describes how EventoTech handles personal data across the two domains we operate: the institutional site (eventotech.com), with marketing content and information about the platform, and the platform (app.eventotech.com), where organizations manage their events and guests register, check in, and go through other journeys.
If you are a guest of a specific event, that event's organizer (the "Tenant") is also responsible for the data you provide during registration — EventoTech acts as a processor of that data on the organizer's behalf, in addition to being the controller of the navigation and account data described here.
Data controller
EventoTech is the controller of navigation data collected on the institutional site and the platform, and of the account data of anyone who creates a tenant or logs in as a platform user.
To exercise your rights or ask questions about this policy, contact us at contato@eventotech.com.
Data we collect
On the institutional site (eventotech.com): we only collect navigation data via cookies and Google Tag Manager/Google Analytics 4 tags, described in the "Cookies and tracking technologies" section below. The site's contact form opens your own email client to send the message directly to our sales team — no data from that form is stored on an EventoTech server.
On the platform (app.eventotech.com): we collect the data needed to operate your account and your events — name, email, and company/organization for anyone who creates an account; registration and check-in data of guests provided by the event organizer; and navigation data via cookies, following the same logic as the institutional site.
We do not collect sensitive data (health, biometrics, ethnicity, political opinion, etc.) as part of the platform's standard operation.
Legal basis for processing
We process data based on: (i) consent, for analytics and marketing cookies; (ii) performance of a contract, for data needed to create and operate your account, event, or registration; (iii) legitimate interest, for necessary cookies and to improve the security and operation of the site/platform; and (iv) legal obligation, where applicable.
Data sharing
We share data with service providers needed to operate the platform — payment processing (Stripe), communication delivery (Twilio for official WhatsApp, email provider), cloud infrastructure (Azure), and analytics tools (Google). Each of these providers processes data only to the extent necessary to deliver the contracted service.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Your rights (GDPR/LGPD)
Depending on the law that applies to you (GDPR in the European Union and the United Kingdom, LGPD in Brazil, or an equivalent law), you may have the right to: access the data we hold about you; correct incomplete or outdated data; request deletion of data; request data portability; object to processing or withdraw consent at any time; and lodge a complaint with your country's data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contato@eventotech.com.
Data retention
We keep cookie data for 12 months, or until you change your choice. Account and event data are kept while your account or event are active, plus any additional period required by legal or tax obligations, where applicable.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the platform or to applicable law. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.
