Privacy Policy
How EventoTech collects, uses, and protects personal data on the institutional site (eventotech.com) and the platform (app.eventotech.com).
Last updated: October 2026
Who we are and who this policy applies to
This Privacy Policy describes how EventoTech handles personal data across the two domains we operate: the institutional site (eventotech.com), with marketing content and information about the platform, and the platform (app.eventotech.com), where organisations manage their events and guests register, check in, and go through other journeys.
If you are a guest of a specific event, that event's organiser (the "Tenant") is also responsible for the data you provide during registration — EventoTech acts as a processor of that data on the organiser's behalf, in addition to being the controller of the navigation and account data described here.
Data controller
EventoTech is the controller of navigation data collected on the institutional site and the platform, of the account data of anyone who creates a tenant or logs in as a platform user, and of the data sent through the site's contact form.
To exercise your rights or ask questions about this policy, contact us at contato@eventotech.com.
Data we collect
On the institutional site (eventotech.com): we collect navigation data via cookies and Google Tag Manager/Google Analytics 4 tags, described in the "Cookies and tracking technologies" section below, and the data you send through the contact form, described in the "Site contact form" section.
On the platform (app.eventotech.com): we collect the data needed to operate your account and your events — name, email, and company/organisation for anyone who creates an account; registration and check-in data of guests provided by the event organiser; and navigation data via cookies, following the same logic as the institutional site.
We do not collect sensitive data (health, biometrics, ethnicity, political opinion, etc.) as part of the platform's standard operation.
Site contact form
When you send the form on the Contact page, we record your contact as a lead in the EventoTech CRM, the customer relationship management tool of our own platform. We record: name, email, company or organisation, the option chosen under "What best describes you", your message, your phone number (only if you provide it), the language of the page, and the fact that the contact came from the institutional site.
We use this data to reply to you and to carry on the sales conversation you asked for. The record is available to the EventoTech team responsible for sales.
The IP address of the sender is used at the moment of sending only to limit repeated submissions in a short time (abuse protection) and is not saved in the contact record.
Site usage measurement (Google Analytics, according to your cookie preferences) records only that a submission was completed and the option chosen under "What best describes you" — never your name, email, phone number, company, or message.
If you prefer to write directly to contato@eventotech.com, we handle your message for the same purpose.
Legal basis for processing
We process data based on: (i) consent, for analytics and marketing cookies; (ii) performance of a contract, for data needed to create and operate your account, event, or registration; (iii) steps taken at your request before a possible contract, for the data you send through the site's contact form; (iv) legitimate interest, for necessary cookies, to limit repeated submissions of the contact form, and to improve the security and operation of the site/platform; and (v) legal obligation, where applicable.
Data sharing
We share data with service providers needed to operate the platform — payment processing (Stripe), communication delivery (Twilio for official WhatsApp, email provider), cloud infrastructure (Azure), and analytics tools (Google). Each of these providers processes data only to the extent necessary to deliver the contracted service.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Your rights (UK GDPR/GDPR/LGPD)
Depending on the law that applies to you (UK GDPR in the United Kingdom, GDPR in the European Union, LGPD in Brazil, or an equivalent law), you may have the right to: access the data we hold about you; correct incomplete or outdated data; request deletion of data; request data portability; object to processing or withdraw consent at any time; and lodge a complaint with your country's data protection authority (the ICO in the United Kingdom).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contato@eventotech.com.
Data retention
We keep cookie data for 12 months, or until you change your choice. Account and event data are kept while your account or event are active, plus any additional period required by legal or tax obligations, where applicable.
Data sent through the contact form stays in the CRM for as long as it is needed to reply to you and for any business relationship that results from it; you can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to contato@eventotech.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the platform or to applicable law. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.
